My name is Kelly Van Den Berg and I joined the Wildcat team in 2022 as a School Social Worker. I grew up in SW Minnesota and attended Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD receiving my degree in Social Worker and Sociology and a minor in Psychology in 2003. I began work at a residential treatment facility for children with trauma histories. I then obtained my Master degree in Social Work from the University of Iowa in 2008 and continued to work with children and family for over 20 years before starting at West Lyon.

I am licensed as a Masters Leveled Social Worker through the State of Iowa and though the Board of Education of Iowa. I also am a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
